Solar Power Is The Move!

Updated: May 13

Atlanta, GA -- Black Sustainability, Inc. is proud to announce the launch of our first GRID Alternatives IBT120 Cohort in partnership with GRID Alternatives and Community Access to Sustainable Technology & Training (C.A.S.T.) on May 18th and we couldn’t be more excited about what this means for our community and the future we’re building together!

This inaugural cohort marks a powerful step forward in our commitment to developing pathways into clean energy careers while equipping our community with real, hands-on skills. Through this program, fifteen (15) participants will gain foundational knowledge in renewable energy systems, workforce readiness, and sustainable infrastructure, preparing them to step into a rapidly growing green economy with confidence and purpose.

Rooted in the vision of our Alternative Energy Industry House, this training goes beyond theory; it reflects our belief that sustainability should be lived, built, and accessible.

The future is green, and it’s community-built.

With over 50 applicants, it was a competitive process for participants in Cohort 1.

Stay tuned as we follow this cohort’s journey and continue expanding opportunities at the intersection of sustainability, innovation, and economic empowerment!
