who we are
To mobilize sustainability practitioners of Afrikan descent to (re)build sustainable communities and economies that will restore balance to our planet.
We envision a world that honors Afrikan ancestral wisdom and ingenuity to restore the well-being of our planet and generations to come.
The Black Sustainability Network is founded on the traditional principles of ubuntu & cooperative work, while connecting frontline solution providers to resources & like-minds through membership.
THEORY OF CHANCE.
By creating a global network of Afrikan sustainability practitioners to exchange knowledge, our members can develop best practices and apply sustainable solutions to environmental issues across impacted Black communities.
Sustainability can mean different things to different people. We believe culture is our immune system & by looking back to our past we can apply time tested solutions to challenges we presently face. Our core focus areas of sustainability in the Black community are listed below as Industry Houses. Here members connect, share solutions and exchange best practices.
