The 8th Annual 2023 Black Sustainability Summit returned onland in October.
We are unapologetically committed to Sustainable, Liberated, Lifelong Learning Communities for people of Afrikan Descent. We envision Afrikan people living in sovereign communities dedicated to returning to the ways of our Ancestors living in harmony with nature, growing our own food and using the natural energies of air, fire, water and the earth to thrive.
We invite you to support our mission to mobilize committed people to exchange knowledge, implement skills and pool our resources to build sustainable communities throughout the Afrikan diaspora and the continent.
Our goal is to create interrelationships between Afrikans working across sustainability fields and/or living in sustainable communities with those novices willing and ready to make the necessary commitment to create or become a part of a sustainable community.

THE BLACK SUSTAINABILITY
SUMMIT AIMS TO:
1. Connect local communities and their respective initiatives with global initiatives and other like-minded Afrikans.
Collective work and unity is key!
2. Exchange information (beginner, intermediate and advanced levels) on best practices, technical skills and practical applications in your respective community(ies).
Knowledge is wealth!
3. Create a local, national and global movement to accelerate sustainable community development/planning, land use, and ultimately sacred sovereign spaces where we can thrive.
Dependence on ourselves is true liberation!
SUPPORT PROJECTS YOU BELIEVE IN
Impact investments, such as yours, are investments made with the intention to generate positive, measurable social and environmental impact. The funds received are either DONATED and then granted equally across the projects we highlight each year, OR upon investor request, distributed specifically to a project in which they desire to support. If funds are specifically earmarked for a project, the ROI is determined by the investor and the recipient before funds are distributed.

EARMARKED PROJECTS & ROI
ROI can be as simple as an agreement or MOU that outlines how the funds will be used and what the investor expects in return. Once an agreement is reached, a letter confirming the details of the investment and ROI expected are emailed to both parties. Because receipt of funds by Black Sustainability Network does not guarantee an agreement will be reached, all funds are held between 15-30 business days until both parties reach an agreement. If one cannot be reached investors receive 90% of funds back and are charged a 10% administrative fee, not to exceed $200.
