Black Sustainability, Inc. & 2M Design Consultants, Inc. present the GPRO Certification: Fundamentals of Green Building, designed to unlock practical, job-ready green building knowledge and soft skills you can apply immediately.


This professional certification training teaches how to integrate high-performance, sustainable practices into everyday building, renovation, and operations work. Arbor Day Forestry Education & Cultural Festival in Athens, Georgia. This annual gathering brings together families, professionals, organizations, and culture-bearers to celebrate trees, conservation, and the deep cultural connections to land stewardship.

Held at Virginia Walker Park, the event blends environmental education with cultural expression, highlighting how forestry intersects with tradition, wellness, and community resilience.


We invite organizations to participate as Exhibitors or Demonstration Hosts, especially those focused on:

  • Environmental education & conservation

  • Forestry & land preservation

  • Cultural heritage & traditional ecological practices

  • Community wellness & youth engagement


Demonstration opportunities include tree planting, mulching and pruning, soil or water testing, beekeeping, forestry technology (such as GIS or drones), and cultural land-based practices. This is a full-day celebration rooted in learning, culture, and collective care for the environment!
