CULTURALLY RELEVANT SUSTAINABILITY EDUCATION

Ujamaa Collective's Table with Agricultural Information and Collard Biodiversity
Gratitude to our two partners for joining us and holding it down!
AGRICULTURAL WORKSHOPS AND EDUCATION
We were able to inform collard connoisseurs about seed saving, the heirloom collard green project and plant biodiversity thanks to our partner and BSN Member Roxanne Masters with UJAMAA COOPERATIVE FARMING ALLIANCE (UCFA)/Ujamaa Seeds. Plants were sold and additional information about agricultural education and collard greens were shared.
ALTERNATIVE ENERGY
Attendees also got a chance to experience five different electric vehicles and learn more about e-mobility and ways to access clean energy in the Black community through our partners on the Electric Black Futures project. Their team also showed out offering ride-alongs, trivia and t-shirt giveaways!
Electric Black Futures Table
If you missed us OR the infamous, delicious, dairy-free Collard Greens Ice Cream, catch us next September as we host the pavilion again!
