MEMBER SPOTLIGHT
Yeamah E. Brewer
Yeamah Brewer is a leader whose vision, discipline, and commitment to collective liberation have helped shape the organization into what it is today.
With more than 15 years of experience across environmental policy, public health, community engagement, and grants management, Yeamah brings both strategic rigor and ancestral consciousness to the work of sustainability.
Before co-founding Black Sustainability, Inc., Yeamah spent over a decade working within local government, mainstream institutions, and international NGOs in the Twin Cities, Minnesota. There, she built a strong foundation in program design, cross-sector collaboration, and community-centered policy implementation. These experiences sharpened her ability to translate vision into systems, and ideals into institutions.
